Building practical AI since 2015
Our team’s AI experience began in 2015 with the development of a platform for reviewing marketing and advertising content for potential legal, regulatory and brand risks.
The challenge was to help people review large volumes of content against detailed requirements. We worked on software that applied machine learning and natural language processing—the analysis of written language—to identify content requiring closer attention.
By combining AI with configurable business rules, the platform could flag potentially misleading language, missing disclosures and content that did not meet an organisation’s requirements. Reviewers received feedback linked to the relevant content, helping them investigate issues and guide revisions.
This work gave us practical experience translating specialist knowledge into automated checks and making AI results useful to the people responsible for final decisions.
